Admission requirements
Admission procedures for the degree program and required knowledge for entry
Students holding a high school diploma or another recognized qualification obtained abroad are eligible for admission to the degree program. Applicants must submit their application for enrollment to the Degree Program within the timeframe specified in the relevant call for applications, following the procedures defined by the University and attaching their qualifications. Admission to the program, in the event of a restricted number of places, and the potential assignment of educational debts (OFA) are determined based on the requirements established by the Degree Program Board through a single test, the details of which are communicated annually in a specific call for applications.
For admission to the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, students are expected to possess—or otherwise acquire—adequate initial preparation in the core subjects listed in the Appendix. This list may be updated by the Degree Program Board and can be consulted in the Student Guide and on the Degree Program website.
The fulfillment of any educational debts may be achieved by attending appropriate remedial courses offered as part of the teaching activities, as specified in the Student Guide.
Students transferring from other Degree Programs or other Universities may be enrolled in a year subsequent to the first if they have previously acquired at least 40 credits valid for the Degree Program in Computer Science, recognized in accordance with the following article.
Recognition or confirmation of university educational credits
The partial or total recognition of credits acquired by a student in another degree program at this or another university is determined by the CCL, based on criteria and procedures predetermined by the Board itself and in compliance with the provisions of the University Teaching Regulations.
